If yes, you’re not alone. Here’s the good news: if you believe in Jesus and follow Him by faith, you will overcome every worry, pain, sorrow, and obstacle in this life, and no weapon formed against you will prosper, not even death itself.
How do I know these things? Because God the Creator of mankind says them in the Bible through His messengers…
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
… and because I have lived them and witnessed them.
There was a time when the pressures of this world just about crushed me. But then I turned to Jesus, and He delivered me from all my burdens and sins that were entangling me, and He gave me true freedom from the crushing burdens and sins of this world that I had never known before.
He promised, “If you will be my disciples, you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free… and if I set you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:32-36
I’m a witness His word is true. He is good for His word. He never lies.
Have a look again at the photo on the front page of this website. Turn your phone sideways and look at it again. You don’t have to carry the weight of the world on your back anymore. You can come to the cross of Christ and allow him to take your burdens from you. He will take them off.
Jesus calls you today, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28
Jesus doesn’t want you to live with heavy burdens. He wants to liberate you from all of them.
Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” Luke 4:18
All you have to do is believe in Jesus, repent of your sins, be baptized in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, pick up your cross, and follow Jesus by faith as your Lord and Savior.
Following Jesus means becoming his disciple where you are his humble student, and he is your master teacher, and you dedicate your life to learning from Him, and putting his teachings into practice by faith.
Jesus promised if you will be His disciple, He will make you free of every burden. I pray you believe Him. I tried every way of life to get free from heavy burdens, and all of them failed. In fact, the more I tried to find peace through things and people of this world, the less peace I found. But in Christ, I finally found the peace my soul had been seeking… and even joy and hope. And I pray you will find peace in Christ also.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Fix your eyes on Jesus, who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12
Are you still struggling to see the light? Are you still struggling to see God and encounter his power and peace in your life? Perhaps you are not yet seeking him with your whole heart. He said “You will seek me, and you will find me when you seek me with your whole heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
May God bless you with His grace and truth.
